ADOPTION PROCESS

How to adopt our kittens

STEP 1: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

We care deeply about our Ragdolls and vet new parents thoughtfully. Maybe you also have questions? If you would like one or more of our kittens, please introduce yourself and what you hope for via email or the chat function. Fill in this FORM to get on our waitlist!

STEP 2: DO YOUR HOMEWORK

For those who have little experience of kittens or Ragdoll kittens, it can help to prepare and learn more. You can read our website, join a national Ragdoll Club, watch videos from Jackson Galaxy or The Kitten Lady, and research the various supplies you might need.

STEP 3: FOLLOW KITTEN PROGRESS

Watch our social media channels for updates on kittens. If you have a preference for particular kittens then do let us know. No decisions will be made until the kittens are 8-9 weeks old. Instagram & Facebook

STEP 4: KITTENS AVAILABLE

Kitten availability will be notified, usually at 8-9 weeks, on Instagram, Facebook and our website. Kittens will be identified as Breed / Show / or Pet quality based on their alignment to breed standards. Once a kitten is posted as available the reservation process moves very quickly. Please ensure you are prepared.

STEP 5: AGREEMENTS & DEPOSITS

We will invite potential adopters for a video call. Following this, in discussion with you, we will make an initial matching based on what we feel is best match for the kittens. Adoption agreements will then be shared. If you wish to adopt, please fill and return the agreement and pay the deposit within 48 hours.

STEP 6: PREPARE FOR YOUR KITTEN(S)

We will discuss and agree a pick up date. We encourage you to ensure you have the supplies needed. We will also discuss food. Pre-book your kitten check-up with your vet within 2 days of pick-up. The final balance is to be paid 1 week prior to pick-up.

STEP 7: BRINGING YOUR NEW KITTEN HOME

Congratulations! This is an exciting time. Try to ensure a calm environment for when you get home. You should prepare a quarantine room where the kitten(s) can get used to their new home and family slowly. Don't forget your vet check up and remember to keep in touch with pictures!
