Healthy food for growing Ragdoll kittens
HEALTHY FOOD
Commercial cat food is frequently full of fillers, sweeteners and other nasties that the glossy marketing distracts you from. You want the best for your pedigree kitten but you don't know where to start? We have done the research to find and trial the best kitten and cat foods that we give to our fur babies as Ragdoll breeders, and that we recommend to our new kitten parents. We base our guidance on the nutritional data from independent comparison sites and our own experience, so that you can have confidence in what to buy and feed to your kitten and cats to help set them up for a healthy life.
RECOMMENDED FOOD FOR YOUR NEW KITTEN
Kittens have sensitive tummies and should be provided with the same food when they move to their new homes and only transitioned gradually. Kittens can eat the same diet as adult cats, although they need additional calories and should never have food restricted. Fresh or raw is best. Since we do not feed raw, we provide guidance on fresh only. We also provide guidance on the better wet and dry foods if you feel the need to make a change.
